Principles
1. Christ-Centered Purpose
We compete to glorify God in all we do (Colossians 3:23). Athletics are a platform for worship, witness, and personal growth in Christ.
2. Integrity in All Things
We commit to honesty, fairness, and ethical behavior on and off the field (Proverbs 10:9). Cheating, dishonesty, or compromising standards is never acceptable.
3. Respect for All
We honor our coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and spectators as image-bearers of God (Romans 12:10). We compete hard but treat everyone with dignity and respect.
4. Humility in Victory, Grace in Defeat
We acknowledge that all success is from God (James 1:17) and remain humble in triumph. In loss, we respond with grace, resilience, and a teachable spirit.
5. Discipline and Self-Control
We pursue excellence through hard work, discipline, and perseverance (1 Corinthians 9:25-27). We seek to master our bodies and emotions, honoring Christ in our conduct.
6. Team Above Self
We commit to selflessness, unity, and mutual encouragement (Philippians 2:3-4). Personal glory must never overshadow team goals or Christian character.
7. Witness Through Competition
We use our platform to reflect the love, joy, and truth of Christ (Matthew 5:16). Our actions, speech, and attitude should bear witness to the gospel in every arena.
8. Accountability and Growth
We welcome correction and strive to grow spiritually, emotionally, and athletically (Proverbs 27:17). We hold one another accountable with love and grace.
9. Servant Leadership
Coaches and athletes are called to lead by example, serving others as Christ did (Mark 10:45). Leadership is not about power but about influence through humility and love.
10. Prayerful Dependence
We begin, compete, and end in prayer—seeking God’s strength, guidance, and glory (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Our identity rests not in performance, but in being children of God.
